Thanks to our new operating model the team serves as a vital link between our global R&D and local market, thereby assuming a strategic and supportive role in assisting and driving local sales forces.

In essence, your role will play a pivotal role in shaping Dedalus Italia's growth and sales strategy as you will convey the value of our internationally crafted products to both current and potential customers. Your deep understanding of business processes and workflows will help you identify customers' needs and build comprehensive solution configurations, encompassing internal products and services. Additionally, you will offer crucial support for system integration, evaluate certification requirements, and assess the impact of new regulations and guidelines. We value candidates who possess a robust sense of emotional intelligence  and well prepared about public tenders, technical and project documentations and Gantts.

Main Responsibilities

As a Domain Expert you will deeply know market size and competitors offering and have to build short/medium term plan to profitably grow in market share. You will drive Sales team designing specific actions to secure yearly goals.

In particular, you will:

  • Support team's activity by creating technical documentation for projects and tenders
  • Common tasks encompass conducting product demonstrations, addressing inquiries verbally and in written form, crafting responses to questionnaires and RFPs and co-designing blueprints.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Management and Solution Architects teams to create technical proposals tailored to meet the customer's specific needs, aligning the solution with the right technology, cost-effectiveness, and an appropriate risk profile.
  • Assist the Sales team by articulating functional and technical capabilities of our products and perform custom technical demonstrations focusing on customer value and sales objectives.
  • Develop deep expertise in sub-domain within the healthcare industry, staying up-to-date with market trends and regulatory landscape, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to analyze product gaps and promote the development of new solutions to address identified opportunities.
  • Identify events and support Communication team to properly select where to invest budget
  • Engage closely with customers to identify their pain points, business, and technical requirements, and provide optimal solutions aligning with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to adapt product roadmaps to market problems

Your skills

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Engineering, Science or Economics disciplines, preferably in Biomedical Engineering or Health informatics, or equivalent working experience
  • A highly analytical mindset, characterized by attention to detail while consistently maintaining an understanding of the bigger picture
  • Deep understanding of healthcare processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and argumentation skills, with business-fluent Italian and English
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and cultivate strong partnerships with clients, technical teams and business partners

Additional/Preferential Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles within sales, presales, or operations, supporting B2B sales opportunities in the healthcare sector
  • Experience in leading or supporting sales opportunities and a background in SaaS business models are a plus
