Extrusion Doffer is responsible for maintaining the bobbins, removing them, as they are full of yarn, replacing them with empty bobbins, and transferring the yarn so winding can continue. Adjust the tooling and processing parameters to meet product specifications. Is responsible for monitoring defects and machine malfunctions. Ensure safety procedures and sanitation regulations.
DESCRIPTION
- Ensure all parameters of Safety, Food Safety and Quality are comply to minimize workplace hazards.
- Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition.
- Manually removing bobbins one by one from the winder replaces them with empty bobbins.
- Manually placing bobbins by using air guns and scissors.
- Threading yarn positions.
- Identifying and removing yarn that has wrapped around rollers or other parts of the machine.
- Removing tubes from the machine is needed to maintain continuous production.
- Ensures proper labeling and documentation of packed products.
- Perform all tasks with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
- Fill out production reports with accuracy and attention.
- Follow housekeeping standards.
- Maintain area organized and clean.
- Follows safety policies and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct other duties as assigned by management.
