DoD SkillBridge Internship: Inside Sales Representative

REIC Rentals is seeking an energetic
and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our
growing team. This role is truly the heartbeat of the store-serving
as the central link between our equipment, our operations, and the customers
who depend on us every day.

What You'll Do
As an Inside Sales Representative,
you'll be the first point of contact for customers while providing essential
sales and operational support.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
| 8 AM - 5 PM and during the summer, our employees are on rotation for
Saturdays 8 AM-12 PM
Compensation (if hired after the internship): hourly
+ bonus program
Your day will include:
- Answering incoming calls, reservations, and dispatch requests
- Engaging customers in person and over the phone in a professional,
friendly manner
- Walking the yard daily to stay familiar with equipment availability,
condition, and repair status
- Understanding customer needs and recommending the safest, most
suitable equipment
- Negotiating rental rates to maximize profitability and market share
- Loading and unloading equipment as needed
- Maintaining accurate rental transactions and inventory counts
- Communicating closely with shop staff on repairs and rent-ready
priorities
- Keeping the counter, showroom, and yard clean and organized
- Supporting store organization, snow removal, and seasonal operations
- Following all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Performing additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

- Solid experience with sales and customer relationship building
skills.
- Knowledge of the local valley, terrain, and service area (preferred)
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
- Clean driving record
- General computer proficiency
- Experience working in Construction environment, and
operating or working around heavy and small equipment.
- College education (preferred)
You'll also be:
- A motivated, reliable team player
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Adaptable in fast-paced outdoor and retail environments

- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the
day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work in harsh weather and varying outdoor
conditions
- Willingness to work overtime when required

Skills Required
- Active-duty U.S. Military member eligible for DoD SkillBridge Program

- Experience in construction environment and operating or working around heavy and small equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (walk, bend, lift, push, pull, reach)

- Willingness to work in harsh weather/outdoor conditions and overtime when required
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability for schedule: Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM and summer Saturday rotation (8 AM–12 PM)
- Knowledge of the local valley, terrain, and service area
- College education
