ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1. Implements technical documents for corporate software systems and processes.
2. Assists with the development of training curriculum for various settings, including but not limited to, classroom training and video presentations.
3. Verifies training effectiveness through training certification, performance appraisal, and/or internal audits.
4. Performs training through classroom presentations.
5. Ensures that training and documentation is compliant with regulations and corporate policies, and documents these activities appropriately.
6. Works cross-functionally with departments to ensure solutions developed drive value and meet the needs of stakeholders.
7. Identifies opportunities to improve training systems and processes.
8. Performs retraining over time as needed.
9. Writes ECNs and coordinates the implementation for applicable documentation.
10. Perform other duties as required

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education equivalent to a High School diploma.
• Five years of work experience in a writing/training position.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well alone or in a team and be able to accomplish organizational objectives effectively.
• Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
• Proven attention to detail and editing skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated skills in training delivery and training evaluation methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex concepts and processes to various audience levels.
• Must be able to manage time in an efficient manner and complete projects which require research and presentations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• General knowledge of the medical device industry and the applications of Merit's products in the medical field.
• Experience in a writing/training position in a regulated environment; preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical or biological fields.
