The Role:
Canoe is transforming how institutional investors manage alternative investment data. We automate document collection, data extraction, and delivery for the world's leading allocators. As we scale, we continue to add to our operational engine - and we're looking for high-performing operators to support that transformation.
Canoe is seeking a Document Management Coordinator to monitor our document collection process across investor portals and email inboxes. The Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the timeliness and completeness of document capture for Canoe's clients.
This role is designed for a highly detail-oriented and organized individual who can reconcile system outputs versus expected results. The Document Management Coordinator will monitor investor portal activity and escalate issues as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain exposure to alternative investments and financial technology through a data operations-focused role.
What You'll Do:
  • Reconcile collected documents against expected reporting calendars
  • Manage detailed logs on document collection, ensuring all required files are captured accurately and on time
  • Monitor shared inboxes for actionable tasks
  • Track, reconcile, and escalate document anomalies against expectation statuses against internal reports and data
  • Act as safeguard to ensure accuracy and completeness of the document collection process

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience in fund operations a plus
  • 0-2 years of relevant work or internship experience; prior exposure to financial services or operations is helpful but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately
  • Comfortable working with multiple systems and platforms simultaneously
  • Proficiency in GSuite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
