Job Overview
The Document Control Manager - Data Centers establishes and manages the document-governance framework for CleanSpark's AI data center portfolio. This role ensures that design, construction, commercial, and turnover records are complete, current, traceable, and available to the people who need them. The Manager owns document standards and workflows within the project management information system and coordinates with internal teams, customers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to maintain a reliable record throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain document-control procedures, registers, naming and numbering conventions, metadata requirements, revision standards, retention rules, and access permissions across the portfolio.
- Administer the controlled flow of drawings, specifications, submittals, requests for information, transmittals, meeting records, contracts, correspondence, and other project documentation.
- Own day-to-day document workflows within the project management information system, including routing, review status, approvals, distribution, audit trails, and reporting.
- Monitor document deliverables and review cycles, identify overdue or incomplete items, and coordinate timely resolution with project teams and external partners.
- Maintain design-deliverable registers and ensure that current approved documents and issued-for-construction packages are clearly identified and available to authorized users.
- Develop and maintain data-room standards for site diligence, customer review, transactions, stage gates, and other controlled information exchanges.
- Define and enforce closeout and turnover requirements for as-built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, permits, test records, commissioning documentation, and asset information.
- Preserve complete and defensible records supporting changes, commercial decisions, claims, disputes, audits, and regulatory or contractual requirements.
- Train employees, consultants, contractors, and vendors on document-control requirements and system use; conduct periodic quality reviews and address recurring compliance issues.
- Partner with Program Management, Design, Construction, Commercial Operations, Legal, Technology, and Operations to improve document workflows, system adoption, and information quality.
- Coordinate and develop document-control personnel or external resources as assigned, establishing clear service levels, priorities, and accountability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, information management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive document-control, records-management, or project-information-management experience supporting major capital construction programs.
- Demonstrated experience establishing document-control standards and governing design and construction records across multiple projects or external delivery partners.
- Hands-on experience with a construction document management or PMIS platform, such as Oracle Primavera Cloud, Unifier, Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or a comparable system.
- Strong understanding of document lifecycles, revision control, transmittals, review workflows, audit trails, retention, and construction closeout requirements.
- Exceptional accuracy, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to enforce standards and resolve conflicting or incomplete records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to train and support users across internal and external organizations.
- Ability to travel to project sites and partner locations as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting data center, power, utility, industrial, or other mission-critical design and construction programs.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud or Unifier and with the transition of document-control processes from implementation partners to internal ownership.
- Experience managing commissioning, turnover, and closeout records for operational facilities.
- Certification in document control, records management, information management, or project management.
