The Role
Entegris is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support manufacturing operations by maintaining accurate, compliant, and controlled documentation throughout the product lifecycle. This role is responsible for document control, engineering change implementation, master data maintenance, and manufacturing records management to ensure production teams have access to current and approved information.
The Document Control Specialist works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams to support change management, product releases, document compliance, and data integrity across enterprise systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring manufacturing documentation supports operational excellence, quality requirements, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Administer document control processes for manufacturing, engineering, and quality documentation.
- Process and maintain ECRs, ECOs, PCNs, and new product release documentation.
- Coordinate implementation of engineering and manufacturing changes.
- Maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), material masters, routings, and related product data.
- Ensure manufacturing personnel have access to current approved documentation.
- Review controlled documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain revision history and traceability of controlled documents.
- Support new product introductions through document releases and data setup.
- Monitor document workflows and approval cycles.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve documentation issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Seek
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in document control, manufacturing support, engineering administration, quality systems, production control, or related functions.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of engineering change control and document management.
- Experience maintaining BOMs and product data preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP, PLM, MES, or Quality Management Systems such as SAP.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
