Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm of 1000+ legal and business professionals in seventeen markets, is currently searching for an experienced Patent Docketing Administrator to join our firm. The Docketing Administrator will work closely with attorneys and business professionals in our Intellectual Property department.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Docketing incoming daily mail, faxes and emails.
- Docketing outgoing correspondence and filings.
- Entering and docketing new patent applications.
- Updating and docketing expired patent applications.
- Printing emails from the International Patent Inbox.
- Generating daily, weekly or monthly due date reports.
- Providing backup support to trademark and litigation docketers and IP file and docketing assistants as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- US Patent docketing experience required; familiarity with CPI preferred.
- Strict attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal directions precisely.
- Ability to work well independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to become proficient in docketing, document management, and other related software applications.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects with time constraints and interruptions.
