Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The Dock & Yard Management Rollout Expert is a key member of the supply chain and logistics team responsible for implementing and managing InTrack Dock & Yard Management solutions across various locations within the organization. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, project managers, IT personnel to ensure the successful rollout and integration of InTrack system.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive rollout plan for implementing InTrack Dock & Yard management in new locations or business units.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Lead and manage the execution of the rollout plan, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.
System Integration:
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless implementation of InTrack Dock & Yard management systems, interfaces, and technologies.
Training and User Support:
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of InTrack functionalities and processes.
Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance.
Change Management:
Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of InTrack system, including communication, stakeholder engagement, and addressing resistance.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Conduct rigorous testing of InTrack system to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies before and after rollout.
Ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of InTrack Dock & Yard management configurations, processes, and best practices.
Generate regular progress reports, status updates, and key performance indicators for project stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements based on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other functional teams, including transportation, Warehouse LSP vendors and distribution network to ensure In Track integration aligns with end-to-end warehousing and transportation processes.
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of Inbound & Outbound logistics, transport & warehouse management processes.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Change management and training experience to facilitate user adoption.
Attention to detail, data accuracy, and a commitment to quality.
Relevant certifications in SAP, project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
