This role is for an experienced program leader to head strategic initiatives on data management solutions, and data engineering activities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE• Serve as enterprise level AI technical subject matter expert in representation of the AI COE• Review and analyze the latest research in AI, ML/DL and Gen AI to stay abreast of cutting-edge developments. • Engage in solution development sessions with multidisciplinary teams from various operating units to explore the potential applications of AI/ML/GAI solutions for patient care and treatment optimization. • Participate in cross-functional meeting with teams from R&D, data science, and clinical research to develop and advance integration of foundational AI models and digital twin technologies into precision medicine initiatives. • Lead the data science component of productivity programs, collaborating with IT and operations teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements and automation. • Contribute to the development of genAI algorithms by providing expertise in machine learning and LLMs, working closely with IT, and R&D experts.• In new product design roles, develops and programs integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze and leverage data in product and systems applications in both structured and unstructured environments.• Develops and communicates descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights/algorithms.• In product/systems improvement projects, uses machine language and statistical modeling techniques such as decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis and others to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve product/system performance, quality, data management and accuracy.• In both theoretical development environments and specific product design, implementation and improvement environments, uses current programming language and technologies to translate algorithms and technical specifications into code.• Completes programming and implements efficiencies, performs testing and debugging.• Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.• Applies deep learning technologies to give computers the capability to visualize, learn and respond to complex situations.• Adapts machine learning to areas such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics and other products that allow users to have an interactive experience.• Can work with large scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems and modeling environments.
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)• Bachelor's degree• 15+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 13+ years of experience with an advanced degree
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)• Strongly Preferred:
o Deep domain knowledge of AI, Machine learning and data science with a Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field such as computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related discipline.
o Healthcare background or MedTech experience
o Deep understanding of advanced AI and machine learning techniques, algorithms, and methodologies. • Extensive experience in conducting cutting-edge research in AI and machine learning, demonstrated through publications, patents, or other scholarly outputs. • Recognized thought leadership in the AI and machine learning community, with a track record of influencing the field through innovative ideas and contributions. • Hands-on experience in applying AI and machine learning to real-world problems in industry settings. • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior researchers and engineers. • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and create novel solutions in AI and machine learning. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Understanding of the business implications and applications of AI and machine learning technologies. • Knowledge of ethical considerations and regulatory frameworks related to AI and machine learning research and application
