Job Description/ResponsibilitiesJoin a growing distillery where you'll play a critical role in keeping production, aging, and inventory plans aligned with business goals. As the Distillery Production Planner / Scheduler, you'll help ensure the right materials, barrels, and resources are available at the right time to support production needs and future growth. This position offers the opportunity to influence planning decisions, optimize inventory, and partner closely with operations teams across the distillery.
What You'll Do- Develop and maintain production and aging schedules to support distillery operations and long-term inventory goals.
- Plan raw material, ingredient, and barrel requirements to ensure production demands are met efficiently.
- Manage barrel selection and warehouse planning activities to support quality standards and production targets.
- Analyze inventory, production, and operational data to identify risks, improve planning accuracy, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives, track progress, and ensure timely execution of production plans.
Qualifications/RequirementsRequired
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, operations, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS, or similar manufacturing planning systems.
- Experience in the beverage alcohol, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related manufacturing industry.
- Experience with System21 or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience with database queries, reporting tools, AS400 environments, or prior supervisory experience.
