As a Dispensing Assistant, you'll play a vital role within our Clinical Operations team, supporting the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll work closely with pharmacists and colleagues across the business to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately, quality standards are maintained and patients receive the excellent service they expect.

- Support the dispensing of prescriptions within a busy, deadline-driven environment.
- Ensure prescriptions are dispensed accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Assist the Clinical team with day-to-day dispensing activities.
- Take ownership of prescription labelling and accuracy.
- Follow all Pharmacy2U dispensing procedures and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with Customer Services, Purchasing, Operations and Pharmacists.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets.
- Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical and professional pharmacy standards.
- Help create a positive, supportive and enjoyable team environment.
- Always put patient safety and quality first.
We're looking for someone who is organised, accurate and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail really matters.
You'll have:
- NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant qualification (essential).
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a pharmacy or similarly regulated environment.
- Experience working accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good IT skills, including intermediate Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- A genuine patient-first mindset and commitment to delivering excellent service.
