Within the Disney+ team, the Senior Trading and Planning Analyst will play a key role in analyzing business performance, supporting forecasting and planning processes, and developing strategic recommendations across subscriber growth, engagement, churn and overall commercial performance. The role partners closely with local leadership and EMEA Trading and Analytics teams to shape data-driven decision-making and optimise business outcomes.

This job is a permanent position based 4 days a week in our office in Madrid.
What you will do :
Analyze Disney+ commercial performance across Spain & Portugal, identifying key drivers of subscriber acquisition, retention, engagement and net growth
Develop insights and recommendations that directly influence strategic and operational decision-making across the business
Own forecasting, trend analysis and performance planning processes, identifying risks and opportunities against business targets
Partner with local and regional stakeholders to evaluate commercial initiatives and their impact on subscriber performance
Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for senior leadership audiences
Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand business trends, customer behaviours and market dynamics
Act as the primary trading and planning expert for Spain & Portugal within the wider EMEA Disney+ organisation
Collaborate with EMEA Analytics, Finance and Trading teams to ensure alignment on forecasting methodologies, performance measurement and strategic priorities
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrated experience using advanced analytical techniques to evaluate business performance, identify key business drivers and inform strategic decision making.
Strong expertise in SQL and working with large, complex datasets to generate actionable business insights.
Proven ability to develop forecasts, performance models and scenario analyses within a commercial environment.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and business outcomes.
Experience influencing stakeholders through data-driven storytelling and presenting insights to senior decision makers, tailoring messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect analytical findings to business priorities and strategic opportunities.
Ability to independently manage complex analytical projects, operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and partner cross-functionally with business, analytics and commercial stakeholders.
