Within the Disney+ team, the Trading & Planning Analyst will be in charge of supporting the D+ team lead in analyzing the commercial performance of Disney+ in Spain & Portugal (sign ups, churn, net growth, subscribers etc.). The person in charge will collaborate daily with the local Disney+ Team as well as with the EMEA trading and analytics teams.

This job is a permanent position based 4 days a week in our office in Madrid.
What you will do :
- Review and analyze weekly & quarterly numbers: sign ups, subscribers, churn, engagement, content performance and net growth
- Provide with a clear view of Disney+’ performances in Spain & Portugal vs our forecast (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual), producing the corresponding insights and presentations
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis requested by the team to better understand business performance and identify opportunities.
- Present insights to management, as a guide for decision making.
- Work daily with EMEA trading team to maximize use of best practices across EMEA
- Be contact person for any trading question in Spain & Portugal for the EMEA Trading team and work closely with the EMEA analytics team to get access to data and share views of key factors influencing the state of the sub. base
Profile :
- Experience with SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables)
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large datasets and distilling them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
- High numeracy and analytical ability & rigor
- Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple project schedules and deadlines that run simultaneously.
- Business Acumen and Consumer Behavior understanding
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories.
- Confident and assertive
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to tailor comms to different audiences (e.g. country teams, execs)
- High degree of integrity
