Discipline Integration/Coordination Manager

Role Purpose:

The Discipline Integration/Coordination Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery coordination of all engineering, document control, quality etc. to ensure procurement has all the deliverables on time to ensure the procurement cycle has the necessary time to achieve the required on site dates activities within a defined area or project scope. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of E&P work packages, aligned with contractual obligations and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Cross-functional Coordination: Aligns engineering, procurement, quality, documentation, planning teams and client to a common delivery plan.

· Develop and implement methods to effectively interface with all departments on the project, including Project Management, HSE Management, Quality Management, Engineering, Procurement & Materials Management, Information Management, Project Controls Management, Suppliers, Subcontractors and the Client.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with Department Leads, Package Managers, contractors, suppliers (where intervention or support is required) and the client.

· Represent the project in area-level coordination meetings and progress reviews.

· Identify and mitigate delivery risks in all disciplines, and delivery phases.

· Problem Solving: Anticipates and resolves delivery risks, technical conflicts, and discipline bottlenecks.

· Documentation Assurance: Supports delivering priority engineering and supplier documentation packages.

· Schedule & Progress Control: Tracks milestones, adjust plans, and recovers slippage to meet project timelines.

· Translate overall programme strategy into actionable delivery plans for the area.

· Manage change control in accordance with contract requirements.

· Track progress against schedule, analyse deviations, and implement recovery plans.

· Monitor cost and schedule performance, implementing corrective actions when required.

· Provide accurate progress, change, delay and solution reports to senior management and project controls teams.

· Key Packages: Presents Dashboard view, Key Issues, Strategies and Highlights.

· Supports the tracking of long-lead item procurement to avoid schedule delays.

· Site & Supplier Visits: Attends and supports, escalation requirement meetings to support critical path requirements

· For Project Management: Single point of accountability, transparent reporting, and early risk escalation.

For Supply Chain Partners: Clear expectations, prioritisation, streamlined processes, and reduced rework.

· For the Client: Driving priorities across E&P and entire supply chain to ensure best deliveries to construction teams and site requirements.

· Package Management: Provides consistent approach and recommendations timely implementation of assignments.

· Risks & Opportunities: Provides R&O data and recommendations via Package Dashboards, weekly reviews and stakeholder engagement.

· Track record of project delivery in Europe, Middle East or Africa.

· Demonstratable flexibility and ability to adapt to changing project-related priorities and deliver high quality, accurate work within required deadlines.

· Ability to works things through with discipline leads, management and clients to resolve issues, including conflicting demands, sensitive situations, and conflicts with other groups.
