POSITION SUMMARY
The Director - Wholesale Marketing will lead marketing efforts that support and grow our wholesale mortgage channel. This role is a key partner to the Wholesale sales leadership team – creating compelling content, energizing broker engagement, and driving measurable business outcomes.
This is a highly visible role with direct impact on revenue growth, partner satisfaction, and brand equity in the broker community.
DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the wholesale marketing strategy focused on broker acquisition, engagement, and loyalty.
- Act as the primary marketing partner to the wholesale sales leadership team – participating in strategy sessions, pipeline meetings, and filed input loops.
- Bring a proactive, ideas-first mindset to align marketing plans with business needs and broker expectations.
- Own the development of marketing content: product flyers, sales collateral, digital campaigns, broker email journeys, blog articles, and more.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and training teams to bring broker-facing tools to life in a clear, compelling, and compliant way.
- Lead web content strategy for newrezwholesale.com, ensuring the experience is current, engaging, and conversion driven.
- Create marketing campaigns that promote new products, tools, training, and loyalty programs (e.g., Rezclub), driving broker activation and retention.
- Partner with the CRM, digital, and marketing teams to execute multi-channel engagement strategies.
- Identify and test new ways to reach and inspire brokers – whether through digital media, events, content series, or surprise-and-delight moments.
- Track, report, and optimize campaign performance using Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and analytical dashboards.
- Regularly share insights with sales and marketing leadership, including what’s working, what’s not, and where we go next.
- Use performance data to continuously improve content effectiveness and broker engagement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in mortgage lending or financial services, preferably with wholesale or third-party origination experience.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the mortgage broker audience and the competitive lending landscape.
- Strong content strategy and development experience – across digital, print, field enablement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft clear, persuasive messaging and storytelling.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with sales, product, compliance, and digital marketing teams.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, CMS tools, marketing automation platforms, and analytics.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
