This position is responsible for the oversight and direct supervision of the Vantage Point Program and the team of staff assigned to the programs. This includes oversight of Vineland and Trenton locations, client services, outcomes, outreach meetings and project activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (PERFORMS OTHER WORK-RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR)

  • · Management of a team of professional staff at multiple locations.
  • · Ensuring the development, implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of all policies and procedures established within the Vantage Point program based on the parameters of the grant.
  • · Planning for, and administration of, managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting components of the program.
  • · Participating in the development of a quality assurance plan for evaluating the effectiveness of program services and staff performance.
  • · Ensuring that all personnel are addressing and completing the program services as outlined in their job descriptions and the client’s Individual Reentry Plan (IRP).
  • · Ensuring the provision of staff orientation and staff training.
  • · Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with funding organizations, Department of Corrections, Probation, and Parole and ensuring communication with program staff, community partners and clients.
  • · Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, community service providers, and program participants.
  • · Attending community partnership and program recruitment meetings at various locations including jails, prisons, parole offices, task force meetings and businesses.
  • · Participating in promoting community acceptance and understanding of the reentry population and programs.
  • · Ensuring the collection of client feedback pertaining to their experiences in the program.
  • · Supporting staff through ongoing open communication, delegation of responsibility and authority, active encouragement demonstrating trust and a shared commitment to the mission of the Company.
  • · Coordinating with community agencies, training centers, as well as employment and housing placement representatives in efforts to ensure optimum completion of participant reentry goals.
  • · Collecting, compiling, and maintaining statistics and relevant program data.
  • · Conducting and documenting regular program activity review to ensure program outcome measurements are being met.
  • · All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Five years’ experience in reentry/outpatient/treatment environment. Three years’ experience managing a staff of five or more preferred.

Federal, State and Local employment laws, Employment

principle and acceptable work ethics; Grant Management.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

BA in Social Services.

  • Five years' experience in reentry, outpatient, or treatment environments

  • Grant management experience and ability to meet and maintain grant service requirements
