Transforming the Future of Enterprise Planning

At o9, our mission is to be the Most Value-Creating Platform for enterprises by transforming decision-making through our AI-first approach. By integrating siloed planning capabilities and capturing millions—even billions—in value leakage, we help businesses plan smarter and faster.

This not only enhances operational efficiency but also reduces waste, leading to better outcomes for both businesses and the planet. Global leaders like Google, PepsiCo, Walmart, T-Mobile, AB InBev, and Starbucks trust o9 to optimize their supply chains.

About the role
We're looking for a hands-on Design Leader to lead the next chapter of design at o9 Solutions.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to spend their days in meetings or managing from a
distance. We're looking for a full-stack product design leader who still enjoys designing, solving
complex product problems, and raising the quality bar through their own work.
You'll lead an established team of product designers and researchers while staying closely
involved in product strategy, interaction design, visual design, and design systems.
Our platform solves complex enterprise problems used by global businesses every day. Your
challenge is to make those experiences significantly simpler, more intuitive, and more enjoyable
to use.
If you're passionate about design craft, love mentoring designers through hands-on feedback,
and enjoy building products that customers rely on every day, we'd love to meet you.

What you'll own
You'll be responsible for shaping both the product experience and the design culture across the
company.
Some of the things you'll work on include:
● Define the long-term vision for product design across the platform.
● Partner closely with Product and Engineering to solve complex customer problems.
● Lead the redesign of key product experiences, making them simpler, faster and easier to
use.
● Raise the quality of interaction design, visual design and overall product experience
across every customer touchpoint.
● Build and evolve a scalable design system that improves consistency and speeds up
product development.
● Stay hands-on by designing critical user journeys, reviewing work regularly and setting
the quality bar through your own craft.
● Coach and mentor a team of designers through thoughtful feedback, design critiques
and collaborative problem solving.

● Build a strong design culture centred around customer empathy, experimentation and
continuous improvement.
● Help grow the team by hiring exceptional designers when needed.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys building products as much as building teams.
You'll probably be a great fit if you:
● Have built and shipped complex B2B or SaaS products used at scale.
● Are a strong full-stack product designer with expertise across UX, interaction design,
visual design and design systems.
● Have exceptionally high standards for design quality and attention to detail.
● Still enjoy spending time in Figma solving real product problems.
● Have experience leading and mentoring high-performing design teams.
● Can simplify complicated workflows into experiences customers genuinely enjoy using.
● Know how to balance customer needs, business goals and technical constraints.
● Enjoy working closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product
development process.
● Use research, customer feedback and product data to inform design decisions.

We'd love to see
A portfolio that demonstrates:
● Beautiful and thoughtful product design.
● Strong product thinking and problem solving.
● Complex workflows made simple.
● Well-crafted interaction and visual design.
● Design systems you've helped build or scale.
● Products you've personally designed and shipped.
Applications without a portfolio won't be considered.
