  • Advise business teams on the evaluation and structuring of new solar opportunities, identifying legal issues that could affect project economics, schedule, financing, construction, or long-term operations.
  • Lead legal support for site control across utility-scale Solar and BESS projects, including roof and ground leases, lease options, licenses, easements, access agreements, and landlord consents, and manage local land-use or real estate counsel when jurisdiction-specific expertise is required.
  • Coordinate with internal real estate, leasing, development, origination, execution, finance, tax, and regulatory teams to align site-control and entitlement strategies with the broader project structure.
  • Review and negotiate EPC agreements and advise on contract interpretation during construction, including schedule delays, milestone requirements, change orders, defaults, and related assessments.
  • Develop and maintain scalable forms, clause libraries, playbooks, and approval frameworks for recurring transactions, incorporating lessons from active projects into EPC forms and development documents.
