Summary: The Global Director of Organization Development and Training will lead the strategic direction and execution of organizational development initiatives and training programs across the company. This role is responsible for enhancing team members' performance, driving leadership development, supporting the talent review and succession planning process, and fostering a continuous learning and improvement culture.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a global organizational development strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
- Talent Review and Succession Planning: Lead the global talent review and succession planning process to identify high-potential employees, develop succession plans, and ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.
- Performance Management: Improve performance management systems and processes in Workday to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Training Needs Analysis: Conduct training needs analysis to ensure full understanding of organizational and departmental learning requirements.
- Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership development programs to build a pipeline of future leaders and enhance the capabilities of current leaders.
- Training Programs: Oversee the creation and delivery of training programs that address skill gaps, promote professional growth, and support career development.
- Training Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of organizational development and training programs, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- HR Collaboration: Collaborate with members of the global HR team to achieve organizational goals and ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Cultural Integration: Provide leadership and expertise to drive cultural integration globally, ensuring that the company's values and cultural pillars are embedded in daily work and interactions.
- Assessments: Evaluate and offer relevant talent assessments based on organizational needs.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes and transformations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of organizational development and training efforts.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of organizational development and training professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and success.
- Compliance Training: Execute the annual global and new hire compliance training programs to ensure all employees meet compliance requirements and are well-informed about company policies and procedures.
- Workday Integration: Design and deliver customized programs for Workday workshops, including goal setting, performance reviews, career development, and talent planning.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for organizational development and training programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.
- Educational Reimbursement: Administer the global educational reimbursement process using Workday, ensuring team members from all regions can submit, track, and process their educational reimbursement requests in one centralized system.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in organizational development, training, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience working in a fast-paced, global corporate environment is required.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills; expertise in change management, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development; ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
- Workday Experience: Experience in Talent Optimization and Learning within Workday is highly desirable.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required, including listening, speaking, presenting, and negotiation.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically while understanding the details is required.
- Travel Requirements: The ability to travel internationally up to 10% is required.
