Description

The Gund Company is looking for a Director of Total Rewards who can bring clarity and structure to how roles are defined, how performance is rewarded, and how decisions are made across a multi-site organization. This is not a purely strategic role — it requires someone who is comfortable owning both the design and execution of compensation, incentives, and benefits.

This is an opportunity to build and shape how the organization approaches pay, incentives, and rewards while having direct visibility and impact on leadership decisions and business performance.

What you’ll focus on:

· Structuring roles and compensation so decisions are consistent and grounded

· Designing incentive programs that reinforce performance and results

· Ensuring payroll and benefits run accurately and reliably

· Supporting leaders with practical guidance on pay and workforce decisions

· Bringing discipline and clarity to how rewards are managed across sites

What we’re looking for:

· Experience leading compensation and incentive programs in a multi-site environment

· Strong business judgment and ability to connect rewards to performance

· Hands-on experience overseeing payroll and benefits administration

· Comfort operating in a role that requires both strategy and execution

· Ability to bring structure and consistency to a growing organization

Why this role matters:

This role defines how work is valued and how performance is rewarded. It directly impacts retention, leadership decisions, and the organization’s ability to scale effectively.
