The Global Procurement team drives Micron's growth by delivering outstanding total cost management and supply chain resilience. They use innovative predictive tools, risk analysis, and emphasize sustainability and diversity. Join Micron's Global Procurement group as the Director of Supply Chain Resilience. You will play a central role in improving Micron's global supply chain strength and crafting the future of the semiconductor supplier ecosystem. This is a powerful opportunity to lead pivotal initiatives that protect critical supply, support long-term ecosystem growth, and establish Micron as a leader in supply chain resilience.
You will lead a distributed team responsible for supply risk mapping, market intelligence, supporting sub-tier engagement strategy, and geopolitical risk management. Working closely with Procurement leaders and collaborators across the enterprise, you will help strengthen Micron's long-term supply assurance, resilience, and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct worldwide efforts to enhance Micron's supply resilience and long-term supply assurance strategy.
  • Develop and maintain detailed supply chain mapping and concentration risk evaluations across N-tier suppliers for critical materials, equipment, and assembly and test services.
  • Conduct geopolitical and macroeconomic risk assessments and translate findings into actionable supply resilience strategies.
  • Establish and report supply resilience metrics, supply assurance benchmarks, and value-at-risk/value-protected measures to provide executive leadership with insight into emerging risks, mitigation efficiency, and overall resilience performance.
  • Strengthen market intelligence capabilities to identify emerging supply risks, technology shifts, capacity constraints, and strategic opportunities across the semiconductor ecosystem over a 5+ year horizon.
  • Collaborate with category teams to ensure sustained availability of essential materials, equipment, components, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop geographically diversified and domestic supplier ecosystems that reduce geopolitical, trade, capacity concentration, and supply disruption risks while strengthening long-term supply resilience.
  • Develop and maintain disruption response playbooks addressing geopolitical events, trade restrictions, export controls, natural disasters, and various supply chain disruption situations.
  • Lead virtual war rooms and executive response activities during significant supply disruptions and business continuity incidents.
  • Foster the implementation of advanced analytics, digital innovations, and AI-supported solutions to improve supply visibility, risk identification, scenario planning, and decision-making within multi-tier supply networks.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex supply chain, procurement, strategy, operations, or risk management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global cross-functional teams and driving strategic business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor supply chains, manufacturing ecosystems, and critical supplier markets.
  • Proven experience assessing and handling supply chain risk, geopolitical exposure, and business continuity challenges, including crisis and disruption response.
  • Outstanding leadership and program management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse senior collaborators around critical initiatives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for process improvements, including the thoughtful use of AI-enabled tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, technology, industrial, materials, or capital equipment industries.
  • Deep understanding of critical minerals, advanced materials, semiconductor equipment, and technology supply chains.
  • Proficiency in strategic foresight, geopolitical risk evaluation, and market intelligence to detect early warning indicators, assess potential disruption scenarios, and promote proactive supply chain resilience planning.
  • Experience building supply resilience frameworks and enterprise risk management programs.
  • Proven experience implementing digital, analytics, and AI-powered solutions to enhance supply visibility and decision-making.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$149,000.00 - $310,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
