Provides overall management and oversight for all pertinent supply chain functions within an individual facility or multiple facilities dependent upon assignment. Management responsibilities include all supply chain operations including receiving, shipping, distribution and related areas. Serves as primary liaison between region and affiliate.Responsible for ensuring optimal provision and coordination of services and resources across assigned affiliate(s). Identifies and implements various cost savings projects related to materials management and strives for a high degree of standardization of processes, products, and systems.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated success in major project coordination and implementation of successful cost containment initiatives is required.
Extensive knowledge of Materials Management/Supply Chain Management and other related functions in acute or alternate healthcare settings are required. Knowledge of healthcare products and equipment, inventory sources, alternate sources of supply and distribution systems, and new or emerging trends in the industry are required.
Ability to coordinate processes for numerous sites over a wide geographical area and to prioritize multiple demands and projects is critical.
Ability to deal with complex situations and a large degree of variation in policies, rules, and regulations required.
Excellent team leadership and organizational skills are required.
Proven written and verbal communication skills including excellent interpersonal skills are required.
Flexibility, adaptability, creativity and innovation are required.
Project management and presentation skills are essential. Requires a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently in order to meet deadlines and implement projects.
Meeting deadlines and implementing unplanned projects are an integral part of the work responsibilities.

Pay Range is $142,126.40 to $213,179.20 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
