Job DescriptionRole Overview
Bose is seeking an experienced, forward‑thinking leader to serve as Director, Supply Chain Digital Transformation & Analytics. This role owns the strategy and execution for modernizing systems, data, analytics, and digital capabilities across Bose’s Global Supply Chain.
Today, Supply Chain data, systems, and analytics capabilities are fragmented, manual, and inconsistent. This role exists to fundamentally transform how the organization operates—moving from disconnected data and reactive decision‑making to connected systems, trusted data, automated KPIs, and predictive, actionable insights that improve cost, service levels, resilience, and execution performance.
Reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this leader will partner across Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and enterprise data teams to design and deliver a multi‑year digital transformation. The role leads a team of systems, data, and analytics professionals and serves as the primary Supply Chain interface to IT and Bose’s Data Excellence organization, which includes advanced analytics and data science capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Digital & Analytics Strategy
- Own the end‑to‑end digital, systems, and analytics vision for Global Supply Chain.
- Define the future‑state architecture for systems, data, analytics, automation, and digital tools supporting planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, service, warranty, and post‑sales operations.
- Develop and execute a multi‑year transformation roadmap, balancing quick‑win value delivery (dashboards, KPIs, automation) with long‑term platform modernization.
- Set clear standards for what good looks like in Supply Chain analytics, reporting, and decision support.
Hands‑On Data, Analytics & KPI Enablement
- Serve as a hands‑on analytics leader who is deeply fluent in data, metrics, dashboards, and automation.
- Ensure the organization has clear, automated, and trusted KPIs across Supply Chain operations.
- Ability to rapidly create dashboards, analytics views, and automated insights to support executive, operational, and functional decision‑making.
- Move teams away from manual spreadsheets toward self‑service reporting, automated alerts, and standardized metrics.
- Ensure analytics are practical, intuitive, and directly tied to business outcomes—not academic or theoretical.
Systems & Third‑Party Platform Leadership
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new Supply Chain systems and third‑party tools where capabilities do not exist today.
- Drive modernization and integration of ERP, planning, execution, service, and analytics platforms.
- Own the Supply Chain business requirements and priorities for system enhancements and new solutions.
- Ensure technology investments are tightly aligned to business needs and deliver measurable value.
IT & Data Excellence Partnership
- Act as the primary Supply Chain interface with IT, providing clear direction, priorities, and accountability.
- Partner closely with Bose’s Data Excellence team (data scientists, advanced analytics) to translate Supply Chain problems into scalable analytics and AI solutions.
- Bridge the gap between business needs, advanced analytics, and technical implementation.
- Ensure alignment across IT, Data Excellence, and Supply Chain teams on architecture, data models, and delivery cadence.
Transformation Leadership & Change Management
- Lead large‑scale transformation in an environment with legacy systems, technical debt, and inconsistent processes.
- Translate complex business needs into adoptable digital, systems, and analytics solutions.
- Drive disciplined execution, adoption, and value realization.
- Influence senior leaders across Supply Chain to align on priorities, sequencing, and trade‑offs.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing team across systems, analytics, automation, and data disciplines.
- Define the future‑state operating model, roles, and capabilities required to support a digitally enabled Supply Chain.
- Develop talent who can operate at the intersection of business, data, and technology.
- Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and fast learning.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 15+ years of progressive experience across Supply Chain, analytics, systems, and/or digital transformation.
- Proven experience leading large‑scale supply chain transformations, including analytics, data, and systems modernization.
- Deep understanding of data, analytics, KPIs, and reporting, with the ability to be hands‑on when needed.
- Experience acting as a senior business partner to IT and enterprise data teams.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Supply Chain disciplines.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
Preferred
- Experience with ERP, planning, execution, service, and analytics platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, Salesforce, cloud data platforms).
- Exposure to advanced analytics, automation, and AI use cases in Supply Chain.
- Background in consumer products, manufacturing, or complex global supply chains.
What Success Looks Like
- Executives and operators have real‑time, automated, trusted dashboards and KPIs.
- Supply Chain decisions are data‑driven, predictive, and fast.
- Systems and tools are simplified, integrated, and purpose‑built for how teams work.
- IT and Data Excellence efforts are clearly aligned to Supply Chain priorities.
