The General Manager – IMC ASEAN is accountable for end-to-end business ownership of the IMC business across the ASEAN region. This role carries full

P&L responsibility and leads all commercial, operational, and functional execution to deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and customer success.

The role serves as the single point of accountability for IMC performance in ASEAN, ensuring alignment with APAC and global IMC strategies while driving strong local

execution.


Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Accountability

  • Own full P&L responsibility for IMC ASEAN, including orders, revenue, operating income, cash flow, and working capital
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans, forecasts, and multi-year growth strategies aligned with APAC and global IMC priorities
  • Drive margin expansion through pricing discipline, cost productivity, mix improvement, and operational rigor
  • Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and compliance with Honeywell financial and approval policies

Sales, Market & Customer Leadership

  • Lead regional sales execution and go-to-market strategy across all IMC product lines
  • Build and sustain executive-level relationships with strategic customers, EPCs, and channel partners
  • Drive growth in priority verticals including Semiconductor, Energy, Chemicals, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure
  • Champion customer satisfaction, contract governance, and disciplined commercial execution

People & Organizational Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Business Leaders, and Service Leaders across ASEAN
  • Build a high-performance, accountable leadership team with strong succession and talent pipelines
  • Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, integrity, and inclusion consistent with Honeywell leadership behaviors
  • Actively address capability gaps and elevate overall organizational effectiveness


Operational & Cross-Functional Excellence

  • Partner with Operations, ISC, Engineering, Finance, CX, and Digital teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer outcomes
  • Drive alignment with Global Product, Technology, Quality, and Supply-Chain Strategies
  • Ensure adherence to EHS, compliance, and risk management standards


Strategy, Growth & Transformation

  • Translate global and APAC IMC strategy into clear ASEAN execution plans
  • Identify and lead portfolio expansion, localization, and investment initiatives
  • Drive transformation initiatives related to go-to-market models, organizational effectiveness, and digital adoption


Key Performance Indicators

  • Orders, revenue, and growth rate
  • Operating income and margin performance
  • Customer satisfaction and retention
  • Talent development and leadership bench strength
  • Compliance, governance, and operational discipline


Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial, automation, or technology businesses
  • Proven experience with full P&L ownership at country or regional level
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-country, multi-cultural organizations
  • Strong commercial, financial, and strategic acumen
