The Director of Strategy is responsible for driving enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that advance Cority’s growth and innovation agenda. Reporting to the EVP, Strategy, this role plays a key part in translating strategic vision into actionable programs and guiding priorities across business units. The Director contributes to identifying market opportunities, analyzing competitive dynamics, and shaping initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes. This role also supports strategic planning processes to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Execution & Insight Development
- Guide the development and execution of strategic initiatives that support Cority’s business objectives, including go-to-market strategies, product expansion, and innovation roadmaps.
- Identify and evaluate new market segments, customer needs, and growth opportunities in collaboration with product and commercial teams.
- Drive competitive intelligence efforts, synthesizing market trends and competitor strategies to inform Cority’s positioning and priorities.
- Partner with Marketing, Product Marketing, and SME teams to ensure messaging and go-to-market plans are tightly aligned with strategic direction.
- Manage a Strategy Analyst and together deliver market insights—including sizing, competitive intelligence, and customer input—to guide business strategy.
- Monitor progress of strategic initiatives, proactively identifying risks and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Strategic Planning Support
- Support Cority’s annual and long-term strategic planning processes in partnership with the EVP, Strategy and executive team.
- Maintain planning tools and frameworks that enable consistent execution and alignment across the organization.
- Track how well strategic initiatives are progressing, flagging any risks or misalignments to leadership.
- Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure strategic initiatives are integrated and aligned.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in strategic execution, corporate strategy, or management consulting.
- Strong project management and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver strategic outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills in market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
