Team Overview

The Strategy & Planning team partners closely with senior Technology and Engineering leadership to define, shape, and execute TransUnion’s technology strategy. The team plays a critical role in driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and measurable business outcomes. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with Technology, Engineering, Product, and Data & Analytics leaders to shape and execute enterprise technology strategy.

  • Translate complex technology and engineering concepts into clear, concise executive-level narratives and presentations.

  • Support strategic planning initiatives, including long-range planning, investment prioritization, and transformation programs.

  • Develop high-quality materials for the Board, C-Suite, and senior leaders, including executive summaries and presentations.

  • Drive cross-functional execution of key strategic initiatives with clear milestones and outcomes.

  • Apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate business opportunities and technology investments.

  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are produced on time and at executive quality standards.

Required Knowledge and Experiences

  • 10–15 years of experience in strategy and planning roles, with exposure to Technology/Engineering and Data & Analytics environments.

  • Demonstrated experience communicating with senior audiences, including the Board, investment community, and executive leadership.

  • Strong business judgment with the ability to influence across functions and lines of business.

  • Proven ability to quickly learn and synthesize new concepts and technologies.

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Exceptional presentation-building and executive storytelling skills.

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $168,750.00 - $281,250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
