Job Description:

About Packsize,

Packsize is redefining the way businesses and their customers use and experience packaging around the world. We build the technology, design the right solutions, and automate the processes that propel the industry forward. To us, packaging is much more than a box—it’s delivering what’s right for our customers, their customers, our people, and the planet.

About the Role

The Director of Software Product Management is a senior leader responsible for defining and driving Packsize’s software product strategy, execution, and outcomes. This role owns the “what” and the “why” of Packsize’s software portfolio, ensuring products are technically sound, commercially valuable, and scalable across a global, diverse customer base.

This individual is a center of gravity for knowledge about PackNet and software at Packsize. They understand our customers operations, how our software fits in, and are viewed as a trusted advisor and partner to many areas of the business.

This leader brings deep software product expertise, is comfortable collaborating directly with developers on solutioning decisions, and is not afraid to make decisions with limited data. They operate with an aggressive bias toward action, driving clarity, momentum, and results in an environment that values speed, learning, and accountability.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and own a clear, cohesive software product vision aligned with Packsize’s business strategy and long-term platform goals.

  • Translate (internal and external) customer needs, operational realities, and technology trends into a prioritized, outcome-driven software roadmap.

  • Balance short-term customer value delivery with long-term architectural and platform health.

Technical Leadership

  • Partner deeply with Software Engineering, Architecture, and R&D teams to shape scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.

  • Confidently contribute in technical discussions to help bring clarity to the solutioning process – including topics such as Cloud architecture, API design, data pipelines, system integrations, and UI/UX.

  • Ensure product decisions consider performance, reliability, scalability, extensibility, and total cost of ownership.

Execution & Decision-Making

  • Drive crisp decision-making in ambiguous environments; move forward with the best available data rather than waiting for perfect information.

  • Hold teams accountable for outcomes, not just outputs - shipping value and learning fast.

  • Identify and remove roadblocks that slow execution or dilute product impact.

Customer & Business Impact

  • Advocate relentlessly for customers of all shapes and sizes, translating real-world operational workflows and pain points into differentiated software capabilities.

  • Partner with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure products deliver measurable customer and business value.

  • Support go-to-market motion with clear product positioning, value narratives, and sales enablement collateral

People Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Software Product Managers.

  • Establish strong product management practices, standards, and a culture of ownership and accountability.

  • Mentor leaders who can operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels.
