The Role
In the role of Director, Segment Enablement you will partner with key leaders across Fidelity Institutional (FI ) including Segment Management, Sales/Relationship and other functional partners to drive organizational alignment and execution around the most critical objectives and initiatives for Fidelity’s Clearing business.
- Support the planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of segment specific initiatives that meet the evolving needs of our clients and support the deepening of our relationships
- Support segment leadership with the strategic development of leadership updates with a notable emphasis on being a “thought partner” and translating business strategies into synthesized, executive appropriate content
- Drive management of the business through a rigorous use of data and associated analysis
- Create institutional advocacy for segment needs across functional partner teams (examples: Marketing, Analytics, Technology) in a way that helps drive successful outcomes for both our clients and Fidelity
- Drive the various business management processes in support of the segment, including running point for the annual National Sales and RM meeting, All Associates Meetings, etc.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in a sales, relationship management, or distribution function, or supporting partner organization (e.g., Finance, Client Services, etc.)
- Experience working in the intermediary/institutional wealth marketplace; clearing and/or custody experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Required
- Industry knowledge that can help inform and shape successful segment initiatives

The Team
The Director, Segment Enablement for Fidelity’s Clearing business is a critical member of the Segment Management team within the IWMS Go-to-Market and Strategy organization. Segment Management is responsible for planning and enabling the execution of initiatives that help our clients and prospects engage effectively with IWMS. Key partners include leadership across the Client Relationship Group, Client Experience, Marketing, Practice Management, Finance, Legal and Compliance among others.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
