The Role:
Note: This role will be based out of our Orange County Headquarters. Relocation Assistance will be considered.
We’re looking for a Sales Director to expand our enterprise go-to-market efforts. In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing sales team, owning pipeline strategy, deal execution, and revenue growth. You’ll help shape Compa’s sales playbook, define new vertical strategies, and ensure excellence across enterprise opportunities.
This role is based out of our Orange County headquarters, where you’ll play a key role in helping build and strengthen our in-office culture for the sales team. You’ll create an environment that fosters high performance, while working closely with colleagues across departments.
You’ll partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align go-to-market initiatives, deepen customer relationships, and drive adoption of Compa’s platform — including our newest agentic AI products, Analyst AI and Partner AI.

Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven record of closing large enterprise deals
3+ years of experience leading a high-performing sales team with experience selling to VP+ stakeholders within large, enterprise organizations
Track record of large scale, recent commercial success in the enterprise (specific customer wins, AE and C-level references, program changes and reasoning, etc.)
World-class communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and manage multiple stakeholders
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering closely with Product and Marketing
Passion for building teams and creating an in-office sales culture
Preferred Qualifications:
Early-stage startup experience as an IC or manager
Prior experience selling HR tech, compensation, or people analytics software
