Director of Sales is a sales hunter role that requires a high level of organization, a competitive nature, and a strategic mindset with high ambitions. This position is based out of our headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
MedTrans Go's platform acts as a two-sided digital marketplace that matches healthcare facilities/systems ("customers") with businesses and individuals providing services like medical transportation and interpretation ("service partners"). The Director of Sales will work with our Technology, Marketing, and Success teams to ensure prospective and onboarding customers and service partners have an exceptional experience.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, a creative approach to closing deals, and excitement for building impactful relationships with prospective customers.
MedTrans Go is an early-stage startup with room for growth! Compensation packages for this position can include an annual salary of $85-105K (commensurate with experience), uncapped commission, equity, and other benefits. Expected annual on-target earnings (OTE) are $115-125K.
Responsibilities

  • Strategically identifying new leads and business opportunities and forecasting new potential revenue opportunities; identifying potential customers and developing new business opportunities through data utilization, networking, and referrals from existing customers
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline comprised of health systems, hospitals, medical facilities, insurance providers and other payors, and associated organizations in need our our services; driving customer prospecting, meeting with potential customers, responding to RFPs, and closing deals
  • Developing buy-in across the systems from the decision makers to the end users; cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
  • Providing leadership and vision for future Sales team, developing long range sales plans
  • Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets; developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives; developing ROI financial models
  • Developing plans to increase revenue within existing markets while identifying new markets that could provide future growth opportunities
  • Coordinating with Success, Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure that clients receive high quality service


Qualifications
The right candidate for this role will be someone who takes initiative, is proactive, organized, agile, empathetic, effective at communication, and is passionate for service excellence.

  • Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field and/or corresponding years of Sales experience
    • A minimum of 2-5 years of healthcare sales experience
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) familiarity is a plus
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding/passion in healthcare and/or healthcare services
    • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and an entrepreneurial spirit
    • Passionate about building relationships to connect with and earn trust from clients
    • Outstanding negotiation skills
    • Ability to plan and execute strong strategies
    • Good leadership skills and ability to motivate the sales team

    • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments

What We Do

MedTrans Go is a B2B healthcare appointment optimization marketplace solving the $150B problem of medical appointment cancellations in the US. Our tech-enabled portal provides healthcare facilities and others coordinating patient care access to a customizable suite of services to address the root causes of their cancellations in one easy-to-use, integrated digital platform.

The US healthcare system loses $150B due to missed appointments every year. More than 50% of these cancellations are due to lack of transportation or interpretation services. We created fully functioning web and mobile portals which utilize excess capacity of medical transportation providers, interpreters, and more through our custom-designed software for scheduling, dispatching, and tracking requests with built-in, integrated software for billing, invoicing, and record-keeping. Our mission is to reduce medical appointment cancellations and the burden these cancellations place on healthcare providers, as well as to remove barriers for all patients to access necessary healthcare services.
