Position Summary

We are looking for a high-performing sales director to drive revenue growth for the company. Successful execution of sales strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. The ideal candidate will be a driving force (“Hunter” sales persona) in the success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving and exceeding individual sales quota. This role has a base + variable compensation structure. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Develop key sales growth strategies, tactics, and action plans.

· Identify target customers.

· Articulate the value proposition of the product to prospective customers.

· Assess customer requirements and represent needs to product team.

· Attend trade shows and conferences to spread brand awareness and identify customers.

Requirements & Skills:

· Seven to ten years of demonstrated successful experience in Enterprise B2B software sales with proven history of being a top performer in a company for multiple years running.

· Industry experience and a network of connections in the small/medium biotech, biotech research institutes, and/or large pharma/biotech industries.

· Capable of becoming proficient in our product and technology solution, including the ability to conduct high level product demonstrations.

· Demonstrated success in developing, growing, and managing a robust sales pipeline.

· Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

· Experience negotiating complex purchase agreements.

· Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.

· Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and to position products against competitors.

· Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant business, technical, or professional field of study.

· Hands-on, action-oriented, and client-focused to drive for results and deliver on new business growth goals and win rates.

· Executive presence and strong communication skills.

· Demonstrated capability to build and sustain customer intimacy at the highest levels.

· Sound business judgment and strong operational acumen.

· Adherence to a high standard of personal integrity - Must be direct and transparent.

· High sense of urgency, positive outlook.

· Strong interpersonal skills including ability to actively listen, read audiences, and quickly identify key issues and areas of need.

· Excellent writing and public speaking skills, including strong presentation and proposal writing capabilities.

· Driven, astute, attentive to detail, credible, and dedicated to strategizing and producing work of the highest caliber.

· Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment.

· Must be willing to travel up to 40%.
