About the job:
The Red Hat West Region is looking for a Sales Director for the West Enterprise Sales Segment. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of Account Executives in promoting the success of a multi-product go-to-market strategy for Red Hat. You'll report to the Senior Director of Sales for the West Enterprise Segment and be closely involved in developing and implementing growth strategies and a comprehensive solutions approach to reach strategic customers for Red Hat. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do:
Develop, coach, and mentor a sales team to grow business and promote effective sales strategies
Motivate and inspire your team while taking on competitors as Red Hat gains market share in enterprise markets
Guide the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets by establishing sales goals and monitoring achievement
Maintain a close working relationship with other members of the regional leadership team and contribute to the strategic and tactical success of Red Hat's core business and the company as a whole
What you will bring:
10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in a software organization
Proficient in profit and loss management, as well as marketing strategies that contribute to success
Experience managing a 60 million-dollar sales team
Demonstrated ability to use personal knowledge, processes, and solutions selling strategies and methodologies to meet revenue growth objectives
Proven ability to guide and promote plan implementation targets
Relationship-oriented with a solid presence and proven ability to build credibility at all levels within a customer organization, including C-level executives
Creative approach to managing your team of sales professionals
Passionate with solid problem-solving skills
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
