We are seeking a Director of Sales Operations and Partnerships to lead and optimize our sales operations while managing a strategic program of third-party plug-in partnerships. This dual-focus role requires expertise in sales, sales analytics, operational efficiency, and building collaborative partner relationships.

The ideal candidate is both data-driven and partnership-oriented, capable of aligning sales operations with business objectives while fostering a thriving ecosystem of third-party integrations that enhance our platform’s value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and help evolve Open LMS sales processes, tools, and workflows to optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to define and track KPIs and to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain and optimize Salesforce, Zoominfo, Apollo, and other sales efficiency tools, ensuring accuracy and adoption.
  • Lead initiatives to monitor pricing against margin (deal desk) while helping to improve deal velocity, reduce friction in the sales process, and scale growth.
  • Maintain and evolve Open LMS’s product partnership strategy to expand the value of our software ecosystem.
  • Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with third-party partners that align with our platform and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of partner plug-ins.
  • Establish program metrics and manage performance reporting for third-party partnerships.
  • Negotiate and manage partner contracts, ensuring mutual benefits and alignment with company goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, solutions engineering, and customer success, to align sales and partnership goals.
  • Mentor and lead a team of sales operations analysts or partnership coordinators as the role evolves.
  • Act as a key contributor to strategic planning for sales, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, or partnerships, preferably in a SaaS or software environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to drive decisions.
  • Proven success in managing partner programs or business development initiatives.
  • Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
