Requested Tasks
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to drive performance and exceed goals
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key accounts and partners
  • Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and increase market share
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences
  • Develop annual budgets in conjunction with property Managing Director, Director of Finance, and Director of Revenue Management
  • Manage the hotel's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, digital content, and advertising campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI
  • Act as primary lead of all property marketing, digital, social media and public relations initiatives
  • Direct local market strategies for promotions, partnerships, local community outreach and events
  • Serve as property liaison to hotel teams including food & beverage, front desk and operations teams
  • Collaborate with Makeready home office teams and agencies to drive revenue and brand awareness
  • Responsible for ensuring print and digital advertising materials (email, website, paid media, online listings, OTAs) are accurate, on brand and aligned with business goals
  • Act as brand champion and collaborate with Makeready branding and communication team to ensure brand alignment for all property brands
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and alignment with brand standards
  • Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles

Requested Capabilities
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles within the hospitality industry
  • Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead a high-performing team
  • This role will require travel; the team member must be able to travel independently via airplanes, cars, car services and hotels
