The Lodge of Northbrook is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead occupancy growth and enhance awareness of our community throughout the North Shore.
This highly visible leadership role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating meaningful connections, and helping older adults make one of life's most important decisions. You will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, cultivate referral relationships, guide prospective residents through the sales process, and drive occupancy results.

What You'll Do
Lead Occupancy Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Conduct personalized community tours and create exceptional first impressions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective residents, families, and referral sources.
- Manage the sales process from inquiry through move-in.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and referral partners.
- Track performance metrics including occupancy, lead generation, and conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate prospect data and follow-up activities within Salesforce.
Drive Marketing & Community Outreach
- Create and implement local marketing plans that support occupancy goals.
- Partner with corporate marketing and agency teams on advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Manage digital and print marketing efforts, including website content and online presence.
- Plan and host community events, educational seminars, open houses, and networking opportunities.
- Develop relationships with healthcare providers, financial planners, attorneys, senior service organizations, and local businesses.
- Represent The Lodge at community events and professional networking opportunities.
Collaborate & Lead
- Supervise and support marketing department staff.
- Oversee departmental workflow and ensure timely completion of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Partner closely with the Executive Director and community leadership team.
- Collaborate with corporate sales and marketing resources to implement best practices.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive positioning.
Ensure Excellence
- Prepare and present sales and marketing reports.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical sales practices.
- Support resident satisfaction and a culture of exceptional customer service.
- Represent The Lodge with professionalism and integrity.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Three or more years of successful sales and marketing experience.
- Senior living experience preferred, but candidates from healthcare and hospitality, are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong relationship-building, networking, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, lead generation, and sales pipeline management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
