About this Role

DebtBook is looking for a seasoned sales leader to build a high performing team of Growth Account Executives that will drive revenue growth through our existing customers. The Director of Sales - Growth will recruit, inspire, coach, and develop top talent to hit and exceed our growth goals with a focus on creating an exceptional customer experience. This is a new role to the organization and will initially be a player-coach role as the team forms. 

Reporting to the VP of Sales, this is a key leadership position that will drive customer strategy, innovation, and propel overall company growth. 

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier sales talent to consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly growth sales goals 
  • Develop the overall growth strategy with in 2100+ customers with a focus on high customer satisfaction and maximum revenue growth 
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to help your team expand customer engagement and drive revenue within our existing accounts 
  • Create and maintain an updated forecast to predict future business performance 
  • Work closely and collaboratively with our Customer Success team to anticipate customer needs and create a seamless customer journey 
  • Monitor market conditions and customer feedback to iterate our sales approach and refine effective value propositions 
  • Implement best practices, ensure organizational optimization, and provide training to facilitate Account Manager success. 
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development for your team, empowering and motivating them to reach their full potential 

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated success in leading high performing sales teams within a Saas company 
  • Prior success managing sales organizations within a rapidly evolving environment, and the ability to create structure in the midst of change 
  • Ability to attract, hire, coach, and develop sales talent; a focus on providing ongoing coaching and training to your team to give them the tools needed to hit and exceed their growth goals 
  • Proven ability to drive results, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets and/or account growth targets
  • Strong analytical, strategy, operational/organizational, and productivity skills
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable analyzing trends and metrics to inform strategic decisions
