This is a national role and be located anywhere in the United States.
The Director, RLT National Strategy and Operations will provide strategic and business planning recommendations to the Executive Director, RLT Business Excellence and the RLT Customer Engagement organization, coordinate resource allocation plans, and propose innovative business models to drive optimization and alignment for both short and long-term opportunities.
Job Purpose:
In this role, the Director, RLT National Strategy and Operations will collaborate closely with the Executive Director, RLT Business Excellence, and the RLT CE leadership team to provide strategic and business planning recommendations. This includes creating solutions that address market and organizational trends including making informed decisions based on team recommendations. The Director will drive innovation in customer engagement by identifying approaches aligned with healthcare trends and building strong cross-functional business partnerships to understand and meet business goals.
Additionally, the Director will manage strategic and transformation projects, offering recommendations to senior management. They will conduct active feedback discussions with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to help identify opportunities for improvement and resource allocation. The Director will also provide guidance to optimize programs based on performance data and customer insights, develop frameworks for team impact assessment, and offer operational guidance to stakeholders regarding business requirements and needs.
The Director will be responsible for providing ongoing strategic and business planning recommendations/ plans to the Executive Director, RLT Business Excellence that will increase impact of our portfolio and help us better differentiate Novartis from competitors. This highly visible leadership role will be responsible for coordinating and designing the resource allocation plan through modeling an implementation for the RLT Customer Engagement organization. With a forward-looking lens, they will assess and propose innovative business / go to market models, drive business optimization & alignment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Executive Director, RLT Business Excellence and RLT Customer Engagement Leadership team to generate solutions that address trends to adapt execution at the organizational level and align with the enterprise strategy
  • Partner with the Executive Director, RLT Business Excellence and the RLT Customer Engagement Leadership Team to drive innovation by identifying innovative approaches to customer engagement, creating impact in alignment with the customer focused approach and healthcare trends
  • Build and maintain strong business partnerships with cross-functional leaders at every level to understand business goals and strategies
  • Lead/manage strategic and transformation projects and prepare recommendations to senior management
  • Conduct ongoing feedback discussions with leaders and key stakeholders (finance, operations, IDS, etc.) to identify improvement opportunities and resource allocation models
  • Instill a commitment to data accuracy and lead timely efforts to take action to remove obstacles to reporting challenges
  • Provide guidance and build and standardize frameworks across RLT to assess team impact, optimize programs, inform operational guidance and increase business impact based on data and insights.
  • Lead strategic and business planning recommendations in partnership with the Executive Director.
  • Leadership of 4 Regional Strategic and Operations Leads
  • Set a clear and compelling vision for the team, aligning their goals with the broader organizational objectives.
  • Inspire the team by communicating the vision effectively and fostering a sense of purpose and direction.
  • Empower team members by providing the necessary resources, support, and autonomy to excel in their roles.
  • Invest in team members’ professional growth through targeted training and development programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Support strong Regional alignment with clients while ensuring consistent delivery across the RLT CE organization and meaningful insights for the Region and overall RLT leadership.

Salary Range

$176,400.00 - $327,600.00
