As our Director of Revenue Cycle Operations, you will be responsible for a shared service team to deliver key operational results in payer accounts receivable. You will possess strong judgement, problems-solving, prioritization, and change management skills while driving overall performance improvement initiatives. The Director will act as a change agent to help establish common goals and create alliances across the back end shared services organization to optimize success. This is a high-visibility role and will include daily interaction with our shared service and client leadership teams. In this role, the successful candidate will be a high-performing hands-on individual who has proven delivery with a strong understanding of revenue cycle process and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team with primary responsibility for client payer accounts receivable.
- Lead performance improvement efforts by demonstrating an ability to personally identify and resolve complex revenue cycle challenges coaching team to adopt a similar approach.
- Perform and review financial analyses, process performance report creation, recommend process improvement workflows, team meeting facilitation.
- Support client engagement and relationship development.
- Active collaboration and standardization with various shared service functions to develop a one-team mindset.
- Interface with client executives and key customer contact points to report out on performance and address concerns on a regular basis.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of revenue cycle management, with a significant portion in leadership.
- Experience managing and developing plans to reduce outstanding accounts receivable.
- A strong understanding of revenue cycle operations within an acute hospital, Physician and psychiatric hospital or surgery center setting and/or demonstrated, relevant domain knowledge.
- Experience solving problems in fast paced high pressure situations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, while acting as a role model and coaching team members.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with Epic, analytics, and R1Decision preferred.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $104,102.96 - $130,128.71 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 20.00%
