The team oversees end-to-end Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Resource Allocation, and System economics to drive sustainable value creation. By enabling rigorous planning, forecasting, and performance management processes, the department delivers actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, promotes operational excellence, and leads financial communication across the System.

  • Connect across all functions to enable a dynamic, forward-looking view of business needs and resource availability, supporting agile decision-making as priorities evolve.

  • Lead a robust resource governance model in close partnership with Senior Management, providing clear decision rights, transparency, and accountability on resource allocation choices.

  • Embed a strong financial and value-creation culture across the organization, educating teams on financial discipline, capital efficiency, and ROIC-driven decision-making.

  • Ensure full compliance with Africa OU requirements, aligning resource allocation processes with regional policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

  • Partner closely with the Finance Hub to ensure corporate systems and tools are fully deployed, adopted, and leveraged across Africa OU, maximizing their potential to support robust planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
