We are seeking a Director, Reporting, Advanced Analytics and Automation (RAA) to lead the evolution of risk reporting, analytics, and automation capabilities across the Canada Segment. This role will transform complex risk information into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and strengthening risk oversight. Working closely with business leaders and stakeholders, the successful candidate will drive innovation through advanced analytics, automation, and emerging AI technologies while enhancing reporting efficiency, controls, and data-driven decision support.


This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of risk intelligence and enable a stronger risk management culture across the Canada Segment. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of critical reporting and analytics capabilities, drive innovation in automation and data solutions, and provide independent insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making. Success in this role requires a blend of risk management expertise, analytical rigor, technology acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual risk management reporting for senior executives, the Chief Risk Officer, and Board Risk Committees.
  • Drive the modernization and automation of reporting processes, dashboards, and workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
  • Partner with risk, business, and technology stakeholders to develop actionable risk insights, executive reporting, and decision-support analytics.
  • Accountable for the collection, validation, analysis, and governance of risk data to support internal reporting, regulatory requirements, and rating agency requests.
  • Provide oversight and support for Archer Risk Management system initiatives, including data management, reporting, dashboard development, and process enhancements.
  • Identify, monitor, and report on key risks, issues, and remediation plans in collaboration with first-line and oversight functions.
  • Develop and maintain risk governance documentation, controls, and reporting standards to ensure adherence to enterprise frameworks and regulatory expectations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, promoting effective risk management practices, enterprise risk awareness, and a strong risk culture.
  • Support the ongoing collaboration of Risk Management with other oversight and assurance functions (e.g. Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Information Security etc.). Build and maintain a strong network of partners in Functional areas.
  • Advance risk intelligence capabilities through predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and GenAI-enabled solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting frameworks, risk monitoring processes, and business intelligence capabilities across the Canada Segment.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of reporting, analytics, and automation professionals, fostering innovation, continuous learning, and delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience in any of the fields in market and liquidity risk analytics for fixed income portfolios, automation, digital transformation, or investment risk technology functions.
  • Proven track record delivering risk reporting, advanced analytics, and automation solutions that support risk oversight programs, executive decision-making, and compliance with regulatory expectations, including OSFI standards and guidelines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, with experience designing enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise-scale dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques, with experience integrating and analyzing data from Azure Databricks and other cloud-based data platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience building low-code and pro-code applications, workflow automations, and integrated business solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and programming technologies (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Agentic AI, AI agents, SQL, Python, and related platforms) to build intelligent automation solutions, develop actionable insights, enable system integrations, and drive business transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and influence adoption across multiple functions.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end solution delivery, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous innovation through analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent collaborative and relationship building skills; showing tact and diplomacy in dealing with others.
