Director, Regional Sales - France

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Director, Regional Sales to join our EMEA sales team and lead the France region, reporting to the Senior Director, Regional Sales - METAF.  In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for and focus on growing revenues and coaching and mentoring the France sales team. You should be well-versed in positioning business value, selling software solutions to enterprise companies, and managing complex sales cycles. You’re the ideal candidate if you are an experienced and driven leader with a strong passion for mentoring people and driving an integrated sales strategy by creating regional alignment among sales, BDR, marketing, and channel teams while overachieving revenue goals. 

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do  

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets by providing strategic direction and day-to-day management of the France region 
  • Work closely with sales engineering leadership to develop sales motions and increase sales and revenue through the identification of new customers, industries, and/or partnerships 
  • Ensure business objectives and financial targets are met on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Lead and manage the team to grow revenues aggressively in the installed base 
  • Develop sales and support strategies, techniques, and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment to meet and/or exceed corporate goals across the region
  • Use approved AI tools to enhance territory planning, account research, sales execution, and team productivity across the France region, applying sound judgment and validating outputs before actioning them.
  • Align with Marketing to develop relevant and industry-specific marketing materials, including brand positioning and trade show representation 
  • Develop short and long-term market forecasts through market analysis and interpretation of data 
  • Prepare and execute tactical sales plans for current and new opportunities with all products 
  • Align with wider regional teams, like BDR, Renewals, Channel and PS, to develop relevant growth strategies for the France region

Be Prepared — What You Bring 

  • 10+ years of experience developing and leading successful regional sales teams, and an influencer for an entire region
  • Experience in sales, channel sales, and sales management within a networking, Cloud/SaaS or security company is mandatory 
  • Inspirational and passionate people leader with the ability to influence wide cross functional teams to achieve and exceed expectations
  • Comprehensive local market knowledge in the tech industry and in selling complex solutions to sophisticated, enterprise clients 
  • Proven ability to use experience recruiting and developing channel partners and driving direct sales opportunities to train and get results through others, successfully growing the business 
  • Process orientation with strong experience drafting and communicating sales plans that effectively drive business and motivate sales teams, coupled with expertise in effectively leading and developing sales operations functions 
  • AI fluency, including the ability to use enterprise AI tools to accelerate research, planning, and communication while handling confidential information responsibly.
  • Experience developing and implementing successful data-intensive marketing and strategic planning processes for a high-growth company 
  • A high degree of motivation, creativity, and initiative 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Ensure business objectives and financial targets are met on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Lead the France region from the front, being a key decision maker across all departments to drive the business forward

Ready to Be the Difference?  

For this role based in France the initial salary range is EUR112,000 to EUR173,000 per annum, based on objective, gender-neutral criteria. Where a candidate is placed within this range is determined using those criteria, including skills, experience, internal equity, and geographic market. This position is also eligible for a sales commission plan and may be eligible for additional incentive compensation, where applicable to the role and consistent with the relevant company plans and local law. Employees are also eligible for company-sponsored benefits, which may include health and wellness benefits, retirement programs, paid time off, and other locally applicable offerings.
