About the Role

At ARX Robotics, you will lead the programs that bring advanced autonomous ground systems from concept to deployment. As Director Programs, you will shape how strategic initiatives are executed across the company while building and leading a high-performing Program Management organization.
This role combines operational leadership with strategic impact. You will work closely with engineering, product, operations, business development, and external partners to ensure programs are delivered with clarity, speed, and precision. Your work will directly support the development of next-generation defense technology that strengthens European capabilities and drives scalable growth across the organization.

 

What You’ll Build
  • Lead and grow the Program Management function, creating a strong execution culture across all programs  
  • Oversee the full program portfolio, from active customer programs to future strategic opportunities
  • Establish clear program governance, delivery standards, and scalable execution frameworks
  • Drive alignment across engineering, operations, product, and business teams to ensure efficient delivery
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, strategic partners, and senior stakeholders
  • Guide proposal, capture, and contract-shaping activities in collaboration with business development teams
  • Create transparency across the organization through structured reporting, communication, and portfolio visibility
  • Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and opportunities with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Strengthen collaboration between internal teams and external partners to support long-term success
  • Contribute hands-on leadership in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve quickly 

 

What You Bring
  • Experience leading complex programs or project portfolios across multiple stakeholders and teams
  • Proven leadership experience managing program managers or equivalent delivery organizations
  • Background in defence, security, aerospace, robotics, or similarly complex technical environments
  • Experience working with military, public sector, or private sector stakeholders
  • Strong ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams
  • Confidence leading cross-functional initiatives through influence, collaboration, and clear decision-making
  • Strategic thinking paired with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
  • Fluent English and German language skills

  • Experience in program or project management, including leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder programs
