Job Description

The Role: this is a critical role supporting marketing strategy, positioning, and messaging for our evolving suite of data and analytics products, you will be helping to shape the future of Strategy. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of the enterprise software market, a passion for AI, data and analytics, and a proven track record of successfully launching and marketing software products to enterprise customers. Certification in the Pragmatic Institute framework or similar. 

In-Office Position: At Strategy, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office days with Fridays as work-from-home.

Your Focus: 

  • Market Analysis: Maintain ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and messaging.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product launches. 
  • Positioning and Messaging: Create compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target enterprise audiences. Ensure consistency across all marketing channels and materials. 
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver sales enablement tools, including product collateral, presentations, and training materials. Equip the sales team with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively sell Strategy products. 
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing content, including whitepapers, webinars, and blog posts. Ensure content is aligned with the overall marketing strategy and supports lead generation and customer engagement efforts. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Certification in the Pragmatic Institute framework or similar product marketing training. 
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise software product marketing, with at least 2 years in the SaaS industry. 
  • Deep understanding of the data and analytics market, including key trends, technologies, and competitive landscape. 
  • Experience with cloud architectures and AI technologies in the enterprise, and personal use of AI tools for productivity and effectiveness. 
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing enterprise software and SaaS products. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously including with cross functional teams. 
  • Passionate, driven, self-directed, and innovative in approach, with a customer-centric mindset.
