Brightspot is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Product Marketing to lead and execute the product marketing strategy for our content management system. The Director of Product Marketing will be a key member of the marketing team and will play a crucial role in the successful pricing, positioning, packaging, promotion, and adoption of the Brightspot platform in the market.

Responsibilities
- Product Positioning and Messaging:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Brightspot's CMS solutions and their unique value propositions.
- Craft clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that resonate with target audiences, including customers, prospects, and partners.
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Refine ICP and market segments to support a successful go-to-market
- Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and major feature updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of go-to-market plans.
- Pricing & Packaging:
- Conduct pricing analysis to ensure Brightspot is priced appropriately in market.
- Work cross-functionally to define packages that align with key segments and use cases.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify customer pain points, challenges, and opportunities to refine the go-to-market approach.
- Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver effective sales training materials, presentations, and tools.
- Ensure sales representatives have the knowledge and resources needed to sell Brightspot's products effectively.
- Product Launches:
- Plan and execute product launch campaigns, including coordinating product demos, webinars, and events.
- Measure and analyze the success of product launches, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Use data and analytics to measure the impact of product marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or software industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and cross-functional collaborations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A deep understanding of digital experience platforms, content management systems, and related technologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Creative thinking and the ability to craft compelling product stories.
- Familiarity with content creation, marketing automation, and sales enablement tools is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- The starting salary range for this role is $175,000 with 10% annual bonus potential.
