The base salary ranges for this position vary by hiring location and are listed below. These ranges represent the good-faith minimum and maximum annual base salary that the organization reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting.
- United States: USD $150,000 – $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- United Kingdom: GBP £110,000 – £140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Slovenia: EUR €70,000 – €90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Position Summary:
The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for leading Loftware's Product Marketing function and defining strategies that drive product adoption, market growth, and competitive differentiation. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role owns product positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, launch strategy, and sales enablement while partnering across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. The Director leads a high-performing team and influences company strategy through deep customer, market, and competitive insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Be the subject matter expert. Develop content to be used by Marketing and Sales for product promotion
- Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that value propositions, marketing assets, use case/customer case studies, battle cards, presentations and demos are available, understood and used to engage prospects and advance the sales process.
- Product Launches: Work across company functions to help design, plan, and execute product launches that achieve market awareness and customer adoption.
- Competitive Intelligence: Understand our competitors’ products and offers. Use this knowledge to inform sales training, positioning, messaging, and input to new product development.
- Market Intelligence: Be the voice of the customer. Be the expert on the target market, the target buyer, and the buying process.
- Pricing and Packaging: Analyze market trends, adjust pricing as needed, and conduct competitive pricing analysis. Use this information to align pricing strategies with business goals and customer needs
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, including product marketers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the department.
- Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to keep the team skilled in the product marketing trends and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Product Marketing, Product Management, or Go-to-Market experience supporting enterprise SaaS solutions, with demonstrated ownership of strategic product marketing initiatives.
- Proven people leadership experience, including building, leading, and developing high-performing teams and influencing globally distributed stakeholders.
- Experience leading a business-critical function and contributing to departmental or company-level strategy through cross-functional leadership and executive partnership.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing product marketing strategies that drive market awareness, customer adoption, revenue growth, and competitive differentiation.
- Experience leading pricing, packaging, positioning, product launches, and sales enablement programs for complex software portfolios.
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to leverage market, customer, competitive, and industry insights to influence business and product strategy.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer value propositions and influence executive, technical, and commercial audiences.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution, setting priorities, allocating resources, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
