Who we are

Kentik is the network intelligence platform for modern infrastructure teams. Unlike traditional monitoring and observability tools, we demystify complex network operations, enabling organizations to deliver applications and innovation at scale. Built by network experts to make critical insight accessible to every engineer, Kentik is the real-time source of truth that understands every network in context — from data center to cloud to the internet. This single platform unifies and correlates cloud, device, flow, synthetic data to turn telemetry into action. Market leaders like Akamai, Booking.com, Dropbox, and Zoom rely on Kentik to run, manage, and optimize their networks.

What we do
Are you an experienced product leader interested in helping to accelerate growth for a market-leading enterprise SaaS company? Do you dream about building products that operate at Internet-scale for thousands of cutting-edge companies and drive better outcomes for the world's largest digital enterprises and network operators?
We are seeking a high-energy, dynamic Director of Product Management to lead our Service Provider segment. This is a critical leadership role reporting to the Chief Product Officer and working in close partnership with the General Manager for the Service Provider business unit. Our ideal candidate is an extraordinary cross-functional leader with deep domain expertise who has demonstrated experience in delivering highly successful SaaS products.
What you'll do
  • Develop and execute a differentiated product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Kentik’s service provider segment, in partnership with the CPO and business unit General Manager
  • Own both strategy and execution, balancing the conceptualization of strategic initiatives with the need for fast and iterative execution to accelerate growth
  • Serve as a primary product evangelist for the service provider segment with customers, prospects, analysts, and partners, including presenting at industry events
  • Manage a team of 3-5 individual contributor Product Managers
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Marketing to operationalize the delivery of the vision and strategy through roadmaps, feature definition, releases, and go-to-market plans
  • Foster deep, collaborative relationships with key customers and partners to listen, learn, and identify the most critical and meaningful problems to solve
  • Act as a leader within the company and be a role model for the company culture
What you'll bringStudies have shown that some candidates tend to apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We encourage you to apply if you meet most of the criteria - even if you don’t match all of the qualifications, your skills and experience could be valuable in this role!
  • 7+ years in senior product management roles for B2B high-scale Enterprise SaaS or technology companies
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Ability to work PST hours
  • Deep technical and domain knowledge with a strong foundation in networking, infrastructure, and distributed systems technologies relevant to service providers
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience driving strategy and execution in a fast-moving, highly technical environment
  • Enthusiastic and clear communication skills, with extensive experience in customer and partner-facing roles and confidence presenting to executive and external audiences
  • A passion for what you do, with a bias toward action and a preference for seeking and solving the hardest, most meaningful problems
  • Ability to persistently advocate for opinions and beliefs without being abrasive and not being afraid to challenge the status quo when needed

Nice to haves

  • Direct experience with technologies and telemetry relevant to service provider networks
  • Experience with AI/ML-based approaches to solving problems in the networking, security, or observability space
