This is a highly inbound role focused on shaping, designing, and specifying new product features that serve the unique needs of mid-market businesses. This role will lead a talented team of UI/UX designers and technical product managers, working directly with the Head of R&D to define and drive the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions.

Responsibilities:

Product Specification Development: 

  • Own the end-to-end process of writing detailed product specifications that guide engineering teams in building the right features and capabilities for our cybersecurity platform.

UI/UX Collaboration: 

  • Lead a team of UI/UX designers and technical product managers, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly design that aligns with Coro’s goal of simplicity and accessibility in cybersecurity.

Product Design Strategy: 

  • Define and shape the product design strategy, focusing on usability, visual consistency, and functional depth, while collaborating closely with engineering to bring these designs to life.

Cross-Functional Engagement: 

  • Act as a bridge between UI/UX, product management, and engineering, leading design sessions and reviews to ensure the product vision is translated into detailed, actionable specifications.

Data-Driven Decision Making: 

  • Use quantitative and qualitative research to guide design choices, focusing on usability testing, prototyping, and iterative development to deliver an exceptional user experience


Skills and Experience:

  • Background in Product Ownership and Design: 7+ years of experience in a product leadership role within the cybersecurity space with a proven record of defining and launching successful product features.
  • UI/UX Expertise Beyond Design: Extensive knowledge of UI/UX principles, with hands-on experience overseeing design processes, usability testing, and user experience research, beyond just visual design.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with cybersecurity domains, such as endpoint protection, cloud security, and email security, with the ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into user-friendly interfaces and workflows.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to drive decisions based on research, user feedback, and performance data.
  • Collaborative Leadership Style: Proven experience leading design and product teams, fostering collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to achieve shared goals.
