How you will contribute
You will:
- Lead the development of growth and must win battles roadmaps and go to market plans for the Business Unit and/ or category. Partner with Finance, Commercial, R&D, SC, and Legal functions as part of the planning process. Define frameworks for evaluating performance.
- Act as a sounding board to relevant commercial stakeholders and champion scenario planning, where to win and how to play and portfolio roles frameworks.
- Work closely with Marketing & Sales Strategy teams, helping them articulate their strategic opportunities related to their strategic plans.
- Lead governance of the implementation of key initiatives and projects flowing from the Strategic Plan
- Lead discussions with regional and global leadership to explain the opportunities and gain alignment of specific actions and choices
- Maintain ongoing monitoring of emerging macro environment, category, channel and competitive trends in partnership with insights and analytics.
What you will bring

- Growth roles for large fast moving consumer goods organizations
- Relevant work experience in Marketing/Portfolio Growth/General Management (across Marketing/Sales/Finance/Operations) in a similar successful or larger size fast-moving consumer goods company.
- Held assignments in consulting firms or partnered with them on mid to long term growth strategies as well as project such as M&As (strategy, structuring, due diligence)
- Leadership level experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis and tools.
- Experience developing and executing 3-year innovation and renovation pipelines, preparing successful stage gate business cases.
- Structured thinking with the ability to simplify complexity and deliver results.
- Strong story teller, communicator, collaborator and influencer. Ability to partner across the organization and manage key stakeholders.
You will play a critical role in defining and executing against the following areas:
Situation Assessment:
- Assessment of external macroeconomic environment (consumers, shoppers, categories, channels, competition) and internal business performance with key implications and recommendations to BU
Portfolio of the Future:
- Portfolio Roles: Defining category & brand roles across the business unit
- Where to Play:Recommending new category growth spaces, adjacencies, must-win battles, brands, integrations and M&A.
- How to Win: Developing and executing go to market plans focused on the 6 Ps of winning.
Portfolio Innovation:
- Develop and execute a 3-year pipeline innovation and renovation strategy for new white space categories, new brands, and cross categories.
- Prepare innovation charters and product development requests for business case approvals.
Portfolio Capabilities
- Optimize the strategic planning framework and adopt new repeatable growth models.
- Develop internal and external category growth stories in partnership with the commercial organization.
- Optimize the innovation process and capabilities while leading the BU's PMR.
- Act as the single point of contact for Marketing capabilities/excellence for the business unit.
- Rally the BU towards new capabilities and partner internally to upskill cross functional teams.
- Coach and develop direct report(s)
- Special projects as needed
Education / Certifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Business degree or related field
MBA an asset

Hybrid work schedule, Monday to Friday
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
