 Position Summary:

As a Capital Projects PMO Consulting Director, you will lead strategic engagements focused on the planning, execution, and governance of large-scale capital projects across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, real estate, and industrials. You will be responsible for advising clients on PMO setup and optimization, risk management, digital transformation, and performance improvement. This role demands deep expertise in project controls, stakeholder management, and enterprise-level transformation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Delivery & Advisory
    • Lead PMO strategy and implementation for large government or private sector capital programs.
    • Advise clients on governance frameworks, project controls, and performance metrics.
    • Drive digital enablement through tools like Primavera, MS Project, Power BI, and ERP integrations.
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Manage cross-functional consulting teams across geographies and service lines.
    • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Collaborate with Partners and Directors to shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within capital projects and infrastructure.
    • Lead proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
    • Build long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Thought Leadership
    • Represent the firm at industry forums, conferences, and client events.
    • Contribute to white papers, case studies, and market insights on capital project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in capital projects, infrastructure consulting, or project management.
  • Proven track record in PMO leadership for large-scale capital programs.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, and digital tools.
  • Experience in a Big 4 or top-tier consulting environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field; MBA or PMP preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in tools like Oracle Primavera, SAP, MS Project, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ESG, sustainability, and regulatory frameworks in capital projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed consulting environment.


Skills Required
