Your new role:
The Director Planning AD Sales leads the Planner´s team, being responsible for managing both TV Distribution (Linear, SVOD, AVOD) & Home Entertainment (TVOD, PPV) businesses in Mexico having direct sales responsibility and growing the market, for business & planning and development activity.
Your role accountabilities:

  • Management of the strategy 'Sales Administration' process within the sales support team
  • Management of the specific sales strategies to support staff - 'Sales Sr. Mgr, Asst. Mgr and Sales Co-ordinator'
  • Management of Long Range Plan, Mid-Year-Forecast and Year-End-Forecast Budgeting and Planning projects (SMART interface)
  • Monitoring, analyzing and coordinating yearly / 5 yearly sales budgets and projections.
  • Liaise with International WBD staff ensuring accurate sales data.
  • Analysis of revenue statistics and data to gather insights to build sales strategies.
  • Interpretation of sales trends.
  • Staff Training - interpretation and analysis of database system, report creation, data entry, manipulation and matching data to reflect actual and forecast sales.
  • Manage and maintain direct and mutually supportive relationships with the Executive Sales Team, along with the Marketing, Technical and Distribution Departments
  • Client database management and review.
  • Responsible for leading planner´s team
  • Give service and build the proposals based on the opportunities of our business.
  • Achieve the optimization of our portfolio.
  • Strategic building for commercial proposals (client/agencies)


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor´s degree
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and related databases for sales forecasting, analytical tools and research/statistics, to create PowerPoint deck for business purposes
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in media and entertainment industry
  • Minimum 8 years team management
  • Knowledge of international media, online and wireless business
  • Knowledge of planification tools

  • Knowledge of international media, online and wireless business required and knowledge of video and/or television business a plus.
